Biography
The Spanish Tenor Enrique Adrados began his musical studies at the School of the Teatro Lírico Huelva. He also studied interpretation, viola and guitar.
After receiving a grant from the Spanish State and the Fundación El Monte, he moved to Madrid, where he studied singing in the Escuela Superior de Canto and graduated with top marks.
He finished his Postgraduate and Master studies at the Mozarteum of Salzburg under the tutorage of Boris Bakow graduated with honors.
Mister Adrados has sung and performed in numerous concerts and in theatres throughout Europe: Spain (international festivals of music in Segovia and Oropesa del Mar, and Ayamonte, Teatro Real of Madrid, Auditorium Murcia, Auditorium of Atarfe, Teatro Ayala of Bilbao, etc.), Germany (Gasteig Munich, Metropol Theater of Munich, Passau International Festival of Music, Ruhpolding International Festival of Music, etc.) Austria (Biennale Salzburg, Museum Rupertinum, Wiener Saal, Grosses Studio, Solitär and Grosser Saal at Mozarteum of Salzburg, Argekultur, etc.), Italy (Accademia Santa Cecilia di Roma, Sala Filarmonica di Rovereto), Serbia (Festival Artlink Young Talents, Belgrade City Hall) and USA.
Mr. Adrados sang the principal tenor roles in Barber of Seville, The Abduction from the Seraglio, The Magic Flute, The Elixir of Love, Don Giovanni and Dardanus. He sang also the principal tenor role in the world premiere of L´Ultimo Tango di Madame Ivonne, opera of Fausto Tuscano.
He has recorded the opera of Mozart Bastian and Bastianne for TVE, and the mass in C Major of Beethoven with Bayerische Symphonieorchester.
His interest in contemporary music and poetry has led him to sing and premiere works by composers like Adelino Barrio, Agustín Castilla-Ávila, Fausto Tuscano and Amr Okba.
Enrique Adrados has been directed by Conductors like Dennis Russell Davis, Jesus López Cobos, Eduardo Portal, Karl Kamper, Tomás Garrido, etc. and worked with Symphony Orchestra of Madrid, RTVE Orchestra, Camerata del Prado, Junge Philharmonie Salzburg, ÖENM, Soloists of Mozarteum Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica of Murcia, etc.
